JANET BAUM || TRADITIONAL WORSHIP LEADER    Janet shares in leading traditional worship and directs the choirs.  After 36 years of teaching music in public school and directing church choirs, she knows how to motivate children of all ages.  She endeavors to help the congregation feel comfortable on Sunday mornings, and makes a point to greet all who attend worship.

The choir meets on Wednesdays evenings from August through May.  Their rehearsal combines learning parts and laughter, and concludes with sharing joys and concerns - it’s a family, but new members are always welcome.  The handbell choir rehearses as needed to prepare for special events and church holidays.

A native of Illinois, Janet has been with us 6 years.  In her spare time she teaches piano and voice.  Ask about her talented grandchildren.

SARAH TUTTLE || MOSAIC WORSHIP LEADER   Sarah has been on a church worship team and led music with the campus ministry program of MO State at West Plains where she received an Associate’s degree in General Studies.  Sarah is married to Daniel - here at NCC three years ago.

Currently working as a paraprofessional in the Springfield school system, Sarah is also attending Columbia College seeking a degree in Human Services.  She is a vocalist and guitarist and oversees the Mosaic music, sound, and visuals.

JOSE DELATORRE || YOUTH DIRECTOR   Jose learned about a great youth program growing up at NCC, and he brings that enthusiasm to his current responsibilities of guiding our youth events.  Taking a break from college, he is working in the local theater world and involved in all levels of production.

Jose also assists with Mosaic (keyboards and vocals), teaches the youth classes, and coordinates special youth events.  He says his favorite week of the year is vacation bible school week.
